Retired United States Army Veteran, servicing over 22 years of honorable service. Served during the Vietnam War and Gulf War (Desert Storm). Married, with four daughters and two grand daughters. He is a graduate of Chapman University in Orange, California with a Masters of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelors of Science in Health Care Administration. He is an Islander by choice; and enjoys the life style it offers, the sense of community, the history and especially the people. His hobbies are fly-fishing, shooting, golfing, gardening, resorting and fixing antique clocks. He is currently a volunteer in facilitating family members participating in the Strengthening Families program sponsored by the Family Service Center of Galveston.
